Asia Cup: Bangladesh set 71-run target against Pakistan

The Bangladesh Women`s Cricket team have set a target of 71 runs against Pakistan in their second match of Women’s Asia Cup at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Monday.
The Pakistan team caption won the toss and sent Bangladesh to bat first. Bangladesh women scored 70 runs in 20 overs with loss of eight wickets.
It is the second match of Bangladesh team and earlier they beat Thailand by nine wickets.
Bangladesh squad: Nigar Sultana Joty (Captain), Shamima Sultana, Fargana Hoque Rumana Ahmed, Mst Ritu Moni, Lata Mondol, Salma Khatun, Sobhana Mostary, Nahida Akter, Mst Shanjida Akther and Shohaly Akter.The tournament was supposed to be held in 2020 but the outbreak of the Covid-19 hampered the progress. A total of seven Asian countries are participating in this tournament this time.
The Tigresses won the Asia Cup in 2018 for the first time, beating mighty India.
