Sri Lanka women beat Thailand by 49 runs

Sri Lanka has registered their 2nd consecutive victory in Women’s Asia CUP 2022. They defeated Thailand by 49 runs.

Opener Harshitha Madavi starred in Lanka’s victory as she scored 81 of 69 deliveries for the Lankans. Sri Lanka batted 1st and scored 156/5 in 20 overs. In reply Thailand only managed 107/5 in 20 overs.

This is Sri Lanka’s 2nd victory in 3 games this Asia CUP. In the first they were thrashed by India-W and in the 2nd they defeated UAE.

Meanwhile, Thailand have lost both their games to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh so far in the tournament.
