Bangladesh-Ireland 2nd ODI called off

The second ODI of the three-match series between Bangladesh and Ireland has been called off due to rain and wet outfield.

Earlier Bangladesh set a target of 350 runs for Ireland at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Bangladesh scored 350 runs in 50 overs with loss of six wickets.

Mushfiqur Rahim smashed Bangladesh's fastest century, off 60 balls, as his team broke the record for their highest total in ODIs yet again. Mushfiqur completed his entertaining hundred off the last ball of the innings, racing across for a single that took him past Shakib Al Hasan and his 63-ball century against Zimbabwe in 2009.

On Monday,  Ireland captain Andrew Balbirnie won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first.

Earlier, the Tigers won by 183 runs in the first ODI of the three-match series against the Irish.
