Bangladesh thrashed Ireland by 10 wickets in the third and final ODI at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Thursday (March 23).
This is Bangladesh’s first-ever 10-wicket win in ODIs against Ireland.
Earlier, Hasan Mahmud finished with 5-32 while Taskin Ahmed and Ebadot Hossain took three and two wickets respectively, after Ireland asked Bangladesh to bowl first.
Curtis Campher was the top scorer for the guests with a 36-run knock. The Ireland posted 102-run-target for Bangladesh in 28.1 overs.
In reply, two openers of Bangladesh started to show their mastery and reached the target easily.
Litton Das scored 50 runs while Tamim Iqbal took 41 runs hitting two over boundaries and five boundaries.
