Bangladesh have set a 203-run target for Ireland in the second T20 of the three-match series at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram on Wednesday (March 29).
The Tigers, thanks to Litton’s brisk half-century, scored 202 runs by losing 3 wickets in 17 overs as the match was reduced by three overs due to rain.
Opener Litton Kumer Das has emerged as the fastest Bangladeshi to hit a Twenty20 international fifty off just 18 balls. He made 83 off 41 deliveries before being dismissed. He hit 10 boundaries and three over-boundaries.
Rony Talukdar posted 44 runs from 23 balls with three boundaries and two over-boundaries.
Towhid Hridoy smashed 24 runs from 13 balls with three boundaries and one over-boundary.
Shakib Al Hasan (not out) scored 38 runs off 24 balls with three boundaries and two over-boundaries. Najmul Hossain Shanto (not out) bagged two runs.
For Ireland, Benjamin White smashed two wickets for 28 runs.
