World Cup winning goalkeeper Martinez arrives in Dhaka

Argentina’s World Cup winning goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has arrived in Dhaka early Monday (July 3).
The 30-year-old goalkeeper, accompanied by some of his personal staff, arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from Amsterdam around 5:30am.
This is his first ever tour in Bangladesh but the Aston Villa keeper would be here for a short while.
Martinez is visiting Bangladesh at the invitation of NEXT Ventures, a leading digital business group, aimed at bringing further recognition to NEXT Ventures’ flagship brand, FundedNext.
During his visit to the NEXT Ventures office, Martinez will participate in a short interview and engage in a series of photoshoots to enhance the brand’s visibility.
Martinez will meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 2 pm. He will also meet Bangladesh cricket superstar Mashrafe bin Mortaza and ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak during his short trip in Dhaka.
He will stay in Bangladesh for 11 hours. He is scheduled to leave Dhaka for India at 4:40 pm.
