Visiting New Zealand beat hosts Bangladesh by 86 runs in the second ODI of the three-match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur on Saturday.
New Zealand scored 254 runs with loss of 10 wickets in 49.2 overs. In replay, Bangladesh scored 168 runs with loss of all wickets in 41.1 overs.
New Zealand skipper Lockie Ferguson won the toss and decided to bat first.
Bangladesh made two changes as they brought in pacers Khaled Ahmed and Hasan Mahmud for wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan Sohan and Tanzim Hasan Sakib, while New Zealand went in with the same eleven.
