Taskin uncertain for 3rd ODI due to stomach pain

Pace bowler Taskin Ahmed was brought back to the Bangladesh squad ahead of the third match against New Zealand. But his game in the third ODI is uncertain due to illness. He did not attend today`s practice due to stomach pain.

Khaled Ahmed was kept ready in the team as Taskin’s backup. Khaled was seen at practice session on Monday (September 25). However, no formal announcement has come yet.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) medical department confirmed the matter to risingbd.

If there is no weakness in Taskin due to upset stomach, he may join the team. However, the chances are very low. Therefore, the team management is keeping Khaled ready.
