Legal notice served to include Tamim in WC squad

A legal notice has been served to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to include opener Tamim Iqbal in the world cup squad.

On behalf of Bangladesh Cricket Supporter Group General Secretary Abdullah Al Mamun, Supreme Court lawyer Rasel Al Mamun sent the notice to the BCB on Wednesday (September 27).

The notice was sent to the BCB president, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Selector.

In the notice, the BCB was requested to remove head coach Chandika Hathurusingha and include Tamim Iqbal in the team within the next seven days.

Earlier on Tuesday, Tamim was left out of the 15-man Bangladesh squad announced for the World Cup in India.
