Ticket prices for World Cup matches in Eden Garden announced

The ICC ODI Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is just months away and the Broad of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has begun the renovations and upgradation procedures at the stadiums which will host the marquee event.
Amid this, Snehasish Ganguly, the president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), revealed the prices for the 2023 World Cup tickets at Eden Gardens on Monday (July 10).
Notably, Kolkata’s Eden Gardens will host five matches, first of which is set to take place on October 28. As per the announcement made by the CAB on Monday, July 10, the ticket prices for India vs South Africa and the semifinal would begin at the base price of INR 900 for the upper tier. Elaborating more on it, the seats in D, H blocks will cost INR 1500, while the seats in blocks C and K will charge INR 2500. Additionally, the highest price for India vs South Africa match and the second semifinal will be at INR 3000 for blocks B and L.
Here are the ticket rates for matches at Eden Gardens:
1. Bangladesh vs. Netherlands:
- Upper Tiers: Rs 650
- D H blocks: Rs 1000
- B C K L blocks: Rs 1500
2. England vs. Pakistan and Bangladesh vs. Pakistan:
- Upper Tiers: Rs 800
- D H blocks: Rs 1200
- C K blocks: Rs 2000
- B L blocks: Rs 2200
3. India vs. South Africa and Semi-final matches:
- Upper Tiers: Rs 900
- D H blocks: Rs 1500
- C K blocks: Rs 2500
- B L blocks: Rs 3000
