Walton Federation Cup final today

Defending champions Bashundhara Kings will take on Saif Sporting Club Limited in the final of Walton Federation Cup today (January 10) at Bangabandhu National Stadium.

Country’s first sports channel T-Sports will broadcast the match live at 4:00pm.  

Kings, who are playing to grab the second Federation Cup title, reached the final this year with an all-win record, with displaying exciting football throughout the tournament.

Regarding Saif Sporting Club as strong opponents, Kings Spanish coach Oscar Bruzon said that his side has strong belief in themselves and are well prepared for their tough opponents.

“It is going to be a very difficult final. We have very tough opponents who are playing a very positive style. Saif Sporting have shown toughness in their performances. We know their strength but we also know about their weaknesses. We will try to take the advantage of their weaknesses,” Oscar said.

Saif Sporting Club also maintained an unbeaten run on their way of maiden appearance in the Federation Cup final this year.

Terming Bashundhara Kings as favourite in one voice, Saif Sporting Club Belgian coach Belgian Paul Put told an unofficial press meet at a city hotel: “We know about the strength of Bashundhara Kings very well. We can’t compare ourselves with Bashundhara but we will try to play our best. We know they are very good team and always play for the title.”
