JS to pass budget for FY 2018-19 today

Special Correspondent: The Jatiya Sangsad (JS) is set to pass the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2018-19 today (June 28).
Speaking at a press briefing on Tuesday, Finance Minister AMA Muhith said, “No major change will be brought to the proposed budget. We’re working to bring some changes in the proposed budget wherever they are needed but the changes will not be major.”
On June 7, the Finance Minister unveiled Tk 4,64, 573 crore national budget for the fiscal year 2018-19.
