Khaleda Zia being taken to hospital again

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is being taken to the Evercare Hospital from her residence in the capital tonight (Wednesday) as her health condition has worsened.

The medical team of the BNP chairperson decided to take her to the hospital for treatment as her condition worsened suddenly, said Shairul Kabir Khan, BNP chairperson's press wing member.

Earlier, Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital on March 13 due to a deterioration in her physical condition. She returned to her Gulshan residence the next day after undergoing a health check-up.

Khaleda Zia, also the former prime minister, has long been suffering from multiple ailments, including liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, and complications in her kidneys.
