3 killed in Bagerhat road crash

At least three people were killed when a truck rammed a three-wheeler in Rampal of Bagerhat on Saturday morning (April 27).

The deceased were known as Sayeed Morol, son of Razzak Morol, Azad Morol, son of Ekhlas Morol, Moni Mallik, son of Makbul Mallik.

Police and local sources said Mongla-bound a truck hit a van in Gabbunia Kumlai area of the upazila around 7:30am, leaving one person dead on the spot and injured four more.

Later, the injured were sent to Rampal Upazila Health Complex where duty doctor declared two more dead.

Inspector Mohammad Babul Aktar, of Bagerhat district special branch (SB) legal process is underway in this regard.
