144 organizations to get VAT awards

A total of 144 top value-added taxpayers are going to receive awards for paying highest amount of VAT in the fiscal year of 2017-2018 to the government exchequer.

Of the selected VAT-paying business entities, nine will get the award for paying the highest amount of VAT at the national level in the year while the remaining 135 are selected for the award for paying the highest amount of VAT at the district level.

National Board of Revenue will honor those organizations through a program at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital on December 10.
