3 sustain burns in Ashulia gas leakage fire

Three people sustained burn injuries as a fire erupted due to a gas line leak in Kugaon Amtala area of Ashulia on Thursday afternoon (April 18).

The injured are – Md Sumon, 30, Majeda Begum, 55, and an unidentified person.

Sources said a buyer went to visit a furniture ware house in the area around 5:00pm. Meanwhile, the explosion took place, leaving the three people injured. Later, they were sent to Sheikh Hasina national burn unit hospital.

Abu Sayem Masum, station officer at Jirabo Modern fire service station said on information, we rushed to the spot. However, locals managed to control the blaze before our arrival.
