‘Shamsul Haque foundation to take care of individuals at Miton’s shelter’

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB) Additional Commissioner of Police, Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid said that an organization named Alhaj Shamsul Haque Foundation stepped forward to assume responsibility for the welfare of the individuals residing in Milton Samadder's Child and Old Age Care facility.

The DB chief revealed the matter in a press conference at DB office on Monday noon (May 6).

Harun-or-Rashid said an organization named Alhaj Shamsul Haque Foundation has expressed interest in taking care of all arrangements including food and shelter for the orphans, children, elderly, and paralyzed persons staying in Milton Samaddar Ashram.

The chief of the organization came to us yesterday, the DB chief added.

Milton Samadder established Child & Old Age Care on October 21 in 2014. There many allegations including trade of human organs against him.
