Staff Correspondent: The ex-lawmaker and Assistant Organizing Secretary of BNP Nasir Uddin Ahmed Pintu, who died on Sunday noon, has been buried beside the cemetery of his father at Azimpur graveyard in the capital.
The burial formalities were ended at 6.45 pm on Monday evening.
Pintu who was also the ex-president of Chhatra Dal suffered a cardiac arrest at Rajshahi Jail around 12.12pm on Sunday and he was immediately taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital but the duty doctors declared him dead.
Earlier, this noon, the second namaz-e-janaza Pintu was held in front of the party`s Nayapaltan headquarters in the city while his third namaz-e-janaza was held at Hajaribagh area`s Leather Technology College field in the capital hours after the second was ended.
The 2nd janaza was held at around 11.55am while the third was held this afternoon.
Hundreds of thousands of leaders and activists of the party attended in the namaz-e-janaza.
