Cox`s Bazar Correspondent: A total of 159 more migrants, who were rescued from Myanmar shore, will be returned home on Wednesday.
The migrants will be handed over to the Bangladesh officials after a flag-meeting between the officials of the two neighboring countries around 10.30 am.
The migrants were hailed from separate districts of Bangladesh including- 80 from Narsingdi, 12 from Narayanganj, 13 from Kishoreganj, 18 from Chittagong, 12 from Faridpur, 17 from Habiganj, 2 from Naogaon, 2 from Natore and Barisal while 3 from Shariatpur.
Earlier a total of 150 migrants, who were rescued from Myanmar shore, also returned to Bangladesh.
On May 21, Myanmar Navy rescued 208 migrants from a floating boat and claimed that about 200 people in the boat were Bangladeshis.
Following the matter, an 11- member representative team from Bangladesh was schedule to visit Myanmar.
However, the team did not make the tour as Myanmar sent a list telling about 200 people were Bangladeshi in the boat. But, the list was misleading and incomplete.
