3 held with arms making materials in Comilla

Staff Correspondent, Comilla: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) held three persons along with arms making materials conducting drives at Shuvopur of Comilla Sadar (South) upazila on Saturday evening.

Captain Major Mostofa Kaiser of Comilla Crime Prevention Compay-2 confirmed the news.

He said, "Law enforcers, on tipped off, conducted a drive at `Noyon Villa` of Shuvopur and seized materials of making two of pistols along with some lethal weapons."

Law enforcers also held three persons from there, he added.

The detainees were identified as Majedul Haque Rajib, 34, son of Bahar Uddin of Noyon Villa, Saiful Islam, son of Nazrul Islam of North Chorthe of the town and Shahidul Islam, 35, son of Shamsul Haque of Golabari of Comilla Sadar upazila.
