194 new dengue patients hospitalised in 24hrs

At least 194 people suffering from dengue fever were admitted to hospitals in the country in 24 hours till Thursday morning (July 29).

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said, of the new dengue patients, Dhaka alone saw 181 people being admitted to hospitals in 24 hours. The rest are from outside Dhaka.

So far, 2,292 patients have been admitted in different hospitals with dengue since January 2021, and 1,646 of them have been released after recovery.

Currently, 642 dengue patients are being treated at government and private hospitals across the country.
