Khaleda Zia hospitalized at midnight

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has been taken to hospital in the capital as her health deteriorated at midnight.

Khaleda’s personal physician Prof. AZM Zahid Hossain confirmed the update around 3:30am on Sunday (March 31).

Earlier, her condition deteriorated suddenly at the midnight. Meanwhile, medical board members rushed to Gulshan residence and checked her condition.

Later, the decision to take Khaleda Zia to the hospital was made on the advice of her medical team members.

Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP's media cell confirmed the news.
