SAFF winner woman footballer Razia dies

Player of Bangladesh National Women Football team Razia Khatun is no more.

She died early Thursday after giving birth to a male baby. 

Razia Khatun’s cousin Md Rokonuzzaman Morol said she gave birth to a male baby at around 10:30pm at her house at Moutala union under Kaliganj upazila of Satkhira district. Later, she suffered some problems and died at around 4:00pm.

In a message of condolence, BFF president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin, its senior vice present, vice presidents, all executive members, general secretary, standing committee and officials and employees of the BFF expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Razia.

They also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
