1.15 lakh Yaba pills seized in Chattogram

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Police arrested a suspected drug peddler and seized 1.15 lakh pieces of Yaba pill in a special drive from Shikalbaha area of Karnaphuli of Chattogram yesterday night.

The detainee is identified as Faruk.

Karnaphuli police station Officer-in-Charge Alamgur Mahmud told risingbd.com that acting on a tip-off, a police team led by Karnaphuli Zone Assistant Commissioner Jahedul Islam conducted drive in the area around 10:30pm and arrested the man with 1.15 lakh pieces of Yaba pills.
