Noakhali Correspondent: At least 10 shops were gutted in a fire in a market of Sonapur Bazar of Noakhali municipality.
The fire originated from electric short circuit in a quilt shop on Tuesday night and rapidly spread to other shops.
After the hour-long collaboration with the local people, fire service workers brought the fire under control.
Noakhali Fire Service Station Commander (acting) Humayun Kabir confirmed the matter.
