10 receive bullet injury in Cox's Bazar clash

Cox's Bazar Correspondent: At least 10 people received bullet injury in a fierce clash between two groups in Phultala station area of Pekua upazila in the district.

The injured are identified as Moktar Ahmed, 38, Mohammad Abdullah, 24, Asaf Uddin, 30, Mohammad Karim, 15, Abu Hanif, 32, Jasim Uddin, 50, Abdur Rahman alias Bhetto, 60, Wahed Uddin, 35, Nazim Uddin, 43 and Shihab Uddin, 40.

Sources said that the two groups locked into clash over establishing supremacy in the area around 11:00pm on Saturday, leaving 10 people bullet hit.

Pekua police station Officer-in-Charge (investigation) Manjur Kader Mazumdar confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
