2 construction workers electrocuted in Sitakunda

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Two construction workers were electrocuted in the district’s Sitakunda upazila on Wednesday morning.

The incident happened around 10.00am when they were working in an under construction building.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Shimul and Mohammad Shahid.

A worker named Fahim (22) was also injured in the incident.

ASI of Police Outpost of Chittagang Medical College Hospital Shilbrato Barua said three workers were electrocuted when they were working at an under construction building of Tourist Police in Bara Kumira area. They were immediately taken to Chittagang Medical College Hospital where the duty doctors declared two of them dead.
