2 drug peddlers killed in Cox’s Bazar

COX’S BAZAR Correspondent:  Two drug peddlers were killed in a BGB firing in the district’s Teknaf upazila.

BGB men fired on them when they were crossing the Naf river with yaba.

Police recovered two bullet-hit bodies from Hinla area on Saturday morning.
The deceased, however, could not be identified yet. But they were citizens of Myanmar.

Pradip Kumar Das, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Teknaf Police Station, confirmed the matter.

Later, police recovered the bodies along with 50,000 pieces of yaba pills from the site, OC said.
