2 drug traders killed in Fulgazi 'gunfight'

Feni Correspondent: Two suspected drug traders were killed in a gunfight with police in Jambura rasta area of Fulgazi upazila in Feni early Thursday.

The deceased are- Sahmiran Samir, 30, son of Mohammad Mostafa and Maznu Mia alias Monir, 32, son of late Fatik Mia.

Sources said that the gunfight took place around 3:00am in the area. Meanwhile, a local made gun, three rounds of bullets, 700 pieces of Yaba tablets and 200 bottle of phensidyl were recovered from the spot. 

Police said the two drug traders were wanted in 10 cases including firearms and drug.

Confirming the matter, Fulgazi police station Officer-in-Charge Humayun Kabir said some policemen were injured during the gunfight.
