2 electrocuted in Jhalakathi

Jhalakathi Correspondent: Two people was electrocuted to death at Tarpasha village of the district's sadar upazila on Thursday noon.

The deceased were identified as Bachchu Mia, 45, of late Aftar Ali of Gobindadhabol village and Rahat Mollah, 14, son of Abul Mollah of neighbouring Nehalpur village.

Keora Union Parishad Chairman Moazzem Hossain Tipu Baklai confirmed the news.

Local said the two were electrocuted after a live electric wire came in contact at a Boro-paddy field. They were rushed to Jhalakathi Sadar Hospital where doctors declared them dead.
