2 killed in Cox’s Bazar ‘gunfight’

Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Two people were in separate two ‘gunfights’ in Cox’s Bazar town and Teknaf upazila early Saturday.
A suspected yaba peddler was killed in a reported ‘gunfight’ with police in Teknaf upazila of the district.
Three policemen were injured in the gunfight.
The deceased was identified as Dudu Miah, son of Sultan Ahmed of Teknaf upazila.
Six cases were filed against Dudu Miah on various charges. Besides, he was a listed drug dealer recorded by Ministry of Home Affairs, Pradip Kumar Das, officer-in-charge of Teknaf police station, said.
In another incident, police recovered a bullet-hit body in Katapahar area of district town’s Kalatali.
The deceased was not identified yet.
