2 killed in Jessore road accident

Staff Correspondent: At least two people were killed and two other were injured in a collision between a truck and private car in the district on Friday morning.
The accident took place near Chhatiantala Bazar of Bagharpara upazila in the district.
The deceased were identified as Moulana Abu Jafor Jessori (32), president of Jessore Sadar upazila unit of Islami Andolon and son of Saifulla Molla at Sheikhhati of Jessore Sadar upazila, and Hafej Borhan Uddin (30), son of Solaiman in Nurpur Dakatia area.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bagharpara Thana Wahiduzzaman said four people including Abu Jafor Jessori were returning to Jessore by a micro-bus after attending an Islami Mahfil in Bhola district. Their microbus collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite side, leaving the casualties.
