2 killed in Muktagachha clash

Staff Correspondent, Mymensingh: At least two people were killed and six other injured in a clash between two groups over establishing supremacy in the district’s Muktagachha upazila.
The incident happened early Thursday at Bijoypur village under Ghoga union.
The deceased were identified as Nazrul Islam (45) and Maijuddin (45) of Bijoypur village.
Muktagachha Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Akhtar Morshed said that the clash between supporters of Nazrul and Manu started in the early hours.
Nazrul and Manu group's Maijuddin were seriously injured in the clash. They died after taking them at hospital.
On Thursday morning, the body was sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
