2 killed in Noakhali road crash

Noakhali Correspondent: Two passengers of a CNG-run auto-rickshaw were killed and two others injured in a road accident on Subarnachar-Sonapur road in Subarnachar upazila of Noakhali.
The accident took place around 12:00am on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Abul Kalam, 45, son of Abdul Hakim of Charbata union of Subarnachar upazila, and Jasim Uddin, 26, son of Mohammad Hossain, of Ramgati upazila of Laxmipur.
Nizam Uddin, officer-in-charge of Char Jabber Police Station, said the accident took place as the CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided with a battery-run auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction, leaving four people injured.
Later, the injured were sent to Noakhali General Hospital where duty doctor declared two of them dead.
