2 killed in separate road crash in Magura

Magura Correspondent: Two people including a child were killed and four others injured in separate road accidents in Magura on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Shahid Munsi, 40, son of Chhamir Munsi and Mohona, 8, daughter of late Jamir Sheikh.

Police said a pickup van ran over Shahid Munsi when he reached near Ichhakhada bazar in the Sadar upazila riding on a bicycle around 4:30pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

Earlier around 3:30pm, Mohona was seriously injured when a battery-run easy bike ran over her in Atharkhada area in the Sadar upazila. Later, she was rushed to Magura Sadar Hospital around 4:30pm where she succumbed to her injury.

Again, four people were injured when a microbus collided with a van at Shotokhali area in Shalikha upazila of Magura. They have been admitted to Magura Sadar Hospital for treatment.
