2 workers die inhaling septic tank gas in Cumilla

Cumilla Correspondent: Two workers died after inhaling poisonous gas while working inside a septic tank in Cumilla Sadar South Upazila.

Of the deceased one was identified as Yasin, 35, son of Azizur Rahman, hailed from Shailmari village of Jaldhaka Upazila in Rangpur, and the other could not be identified instantly.

Fire service and civil station assistant director Yeahiya said that three workers landed in a septic tank of an under construction building. 2 of them were suffocated to death. The third worker was taken to Cumilla Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.



Adil Mahmud, officer-in-charge of Cumilla Sadar Police Station confirmed the matter.
