51 held in Rajshahi anti-narcotic drive

Staff Correspondent: The law enforcers, in a drive, detained 51 drug peddlers from different areas of Rajshahi district from Wednesday night (January 11) to Thursday morning (January 12).

In a press release, Iftekhar Alam, senior assistant commissioner and spokesperson of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police confirmed the matter on Thursday noon.

Meanwhile, police recovered some drugs from their possessions.

The detainees were sent to the jail by the court this noon, Iftekhar said.
