Staff Correspondent: At least 29 warehouses were gutted in a fire which broke out at Dottopara area in Tongi of Gazipur on Tuesday morning.
On information, seven firefighting units rushed in and extinguished the blaze after nine hours of frantic efforts.
Atiqur Rahman, senior station officer of Tongi Fire Service station, said the fire broke out at in the area around 9:00pm on Monday and soon engulfed adjoining areas.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately, he added.
