HC ban on land tax at enhanced rates

Staff Correspondent: The High Court (HC) has ordered one-year ban on land development tax at enhanced rates.
A High Court bench of Justice Kazi Reza-ul Haq and Justice Mohammed Ullah passed the order on Tuesday after hearing on a petition.
The writ was filed challenging a circular of land ministry issued on June 30, 2015 on collecting land development tax at enhanced rates for one year.
