3 burnt in Ctg fire

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Three people were burnt in a fire caused by an electric short circuit at a private office in Agrabad Commercial Area in Chittagong on Monday noon.

The burn victims are Md Sanowar, 18, Anwar Kobir, 24, and Masud Alam, 45.

Confirming the matter, Agrabad Fire Service Control Room officer Sathyapriya said on information, a firefighting unit rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.

Alauddin, assistant sub inspector (ASI) at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost, told risingbd.com that the three people burnt in the fire have been admitted to the hospital.

Of the injured, the condition of Masud Alam is stated to be critical, he said.
