3 killed in Sylhet road crash

Staff Correspondent: Three people were killed and three others injured as a truck rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Chandipul area in Dakkhin Surma upazila on Wednesday afternoon.
Two of the deceased were identified as Zakir Hossain, 45, son of Chndarpur village of Gopalganj upazila in the district and CNG driver Arman, 25, while identity of the other could not be known yet.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police Abdul Wahab said the accident took place when a truck hit the auto-rickshaw around 3.30pm, killing three people on the spot.
The injured were rushed to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
