Staff Correspondent: Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested three members of militant outfit neo-JMB- including one of its founders Abdus Samad alias Arif Mamu alias Ashique.
Tipped-off, a team of CTTC unit arrested them from the capital’s Mohakhali area on Wednesday night, Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (Media) of DMP, said.
Police also recovered one pistol, five rounds of bullets and 200 detonators from them.
