3 workers die after falling off building

Staff Correspondent, Khulna: Three workers have died after they fell off from an under-construction building in BNS Titumir area of Khalishpur in Khulna.

The deceased were identified as Sayem, 20, son of Mahidul Islam, Ramzan, 35, son of Rahim Uddin and Nur Alam, 18, son of Nur Islam.

Witnesses said that the workers were working in a ten storied under construction building in BNS Titumir compound area. They fell off the ninth flood of the building and were declared dead after taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital.

Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Additional Commissioner Sonali Sen confirmed the matter.
