4 burnt in gas cylinder blast in N'ganj

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: Four workers sustained burn injuries as a gas cylinder blasted at a dockyard in Bandar upazila of Narayanganj on Friday morning.
The incident took place around 8:00am.
The injured are Billal, 40, Sohrawardi, 35, Kobir, 28, and Hasim, 40.
Initially, the injured were taken to Narayanganj Sadar Hospital and later shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Confirming the matter, Bandar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Kalam said leakage in the gas cylinder pipe might have caused the explosion.
