Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: At least four people have been killed and three other injured in separate two road accidents in the district’s Sitakunda and Hathazari upazilas.
Two passengers of a CNG-run auto rickshaw were killed as a truck hit it at Hathazari around 8.30am on Friday.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hathazari Thana Belal Uddin Jahangir said the truck hit a CNG-run auto rickshaw and two people were killed and two were injured as the rickshaw overturned on the road.
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
On the other hand, two youths were killed as a bus hit their motorcycle on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Sitakunda upazila early Friday.
The deceased were identified as Apu Das (25) and Bidyut Das (27).
