4 members of debit-card forgery gang held

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Detectives arrested four members of a debit-card forgery gang after conducting separate drives in many areas of the port city beginning last Wednesday till Saturday noon.

The arrestees were identified as Biplab Laskar, 30, Md Kayes Hossain, 30, Rabiul Islam Prakas Sajib, 25, and Morsharul Islam Prakash Musa, 28.

A team led by Deputy Commissioner (DB) of Chattogram Metropolitan Police Mohammad Shahidullah conducted separate drives in many areas of the port city and arrested the four with 17 debit cards and cheque books, police said.
