4 varsity students among 6 held

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Police have detained six people including four students of Chittagong University of Science and Technology (CUST) with local arms.

They were detained from the CUST campus under Khulsi Police Station in Chittagong on Thursday noon.

Confirming the matter to risingbd.com, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khulshi Police Station Mizanur Rahman said on secret information, police conducted a drive in the campus and detained four students of Chittagong University of Science and Technology (CUST) and two outsiders, believing to be associates of them, with local arms.

The detainees could not be known immediately. They are being interrogated in the police station, the OC added.
