41 arrested in Satkhira special drive

Satkhira Correspondent: Law enforcers arrested 41 people in special drives conducted at different areas of the district's eight upazilas from Friday evening to Saturday morning.
Seven cases were also filed for different allegations during the drive.
Police said, of the arrestees, 12 from Satkhira sadar police station, five from Kolaroa, three from Tala, Kaliganj and Ashashuni each, nine from Shamnagar, two from Devhata and Patkelghata each. Two others were arrested by Detective Branch (DB) of Police.
Mizanur Rahman, Inspector of Special Branch (SB) of Satkhira District Police, confirmed the news.
Law enforcers also seized 10 bottles of phensidyl and 300 gram of hemp, he added.
The arrestees are accused in several cases including sabotage and drug, the inspector said.
