43 robbers from 6 groups surrender in Cox’s Bazar

Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Forty-three forest and sea robbers of Maheshkhail and Kutubdia upazilas of the Cox’s Bazar district have surrendered their arms to Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Saturday.

The robbers, from six groups, surrendered their weapons – 94 guns and 7,637 rounds of bullets in a programme of RAB-7 at Maheshkhail Adarsha Uccha Biddyaloy filed around 12:00pm.

Asaduzzaman Khan attended the programme as chief guest while RAB-7 Commanding Officer Lt Col Miftah Uddin Ahmed presided over the programme. RAB director general Benazir Ahmed also attended the event as special guest.
