Staff Correspondent, Rajshahi: Police arrested 44 people conducting drives at different places the city from Friday night to early Saturday.
Law enforcers also seized some drug substances in the drives.
Iftekhar Alam, spokesperson of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP), confirmed this in a press release on Saturday afternoon.
"Of the arrestees, 18 were warranted while 23 were arrested in different crimes," he revealed.
They all were sent to jail through a court, according to press release.
